Veldril thrives on chaos. He spends his free time enjoying acts of debauchery, drink and dance. He has a short fuse and is as quick with an insult as he is with his whip. He is a trickster and is fond of pranks, the more painful and sadistic the prank the better.


Veldril Olonrae was born into the noble house of Olonrae. He is the second son of Xuna Olonrae, the third daughter of Matron Mother Vlondrill Olonrae. As a youngling he was fascinated with magic and would sneak into the family study to tinker with spell components and magic devises. Although he showed an interest in magic, his family gave him no praise or support for his adeptness. Instead he was endless met with violence beatings and unforgiving verbal abuse from his aunts and cousins for attempting to tap into such powers. Such is the life of a male Drow, in female dominated world. These frequent life lessons made him resilient to physical trauma. It was a harsh fact that he was a treated poorly by his family, but he just took the abuse as attention, and believed if they didn’t care they wouldn’t spend the time and effort on him.


He continued his studies in magic, history and the lineage of the noble families. For fun he would get his siblings to re-enact the great battles, act out the falling of noble houses and recite quotes from historical leaders. He got to be so good at acting out these moments in time, that he was frequently asked to entertain and inspire the house at gathering, holidays and events.

Veldril was always agile and fleet of foot. He spent years mastering the favored weapons of the Drow. He was especially adept at the bow. When he was old enough to enroll in academy he thought he would join the Melee Mather to hone his individual and group fighting tactics. Instead his mother insisted he enroll at the Sorcere. He finished his studies at the academy, and at his graduation was officially titled a scion of the arts for House Olonrae, by Matron Mother Vlondrill. He was assigned to Sergeant Imros, commander of the 3rd unit of crossbows. During the Silence of Lolth war, his inspirational presence gave support to the troops to ensure the survival of house Olonrae.
